Moving to Adult Care

Moving to a new consultant when you go into adulthood can be quite daunting. To help make this change easier for you we have put together this section of the website. Even though you may not be due to be seen for a while, this section may  help you think about how your condition affects you and questions you might like to ask. There are probably lifestyle issues that you have not had to think about before such as careers, travel, sex and contraception and we have included some information about these. Also included is a leaflet about what to expect at your first outpatient appointment as this might be slightly different to what you are used to.
